Gift Certificate
For a unique gift idea, consider giving family and friends financial planning services:
- Get your child off to a good start after college
- Help a friend tackle debt problems
- Assist your parents in managing their retirement assets
Gift certificates can be denominated in dollars or hours of planning services. The minimum amount would be for one hour, or $150. For more comprehensive planning gifts, see our planning packages.
Gift certificate recipients receive free initial consultations like any other prospective client. This will allow us to get to know the recipient and refine the exact services desired. We are happy to limit the scope of the engagement to avoid additional expense to the recipient. For example, we would work with the recipient of a $300 gift certificate to select the area of concern those two hours of planning would best address.
A $25 nonrefundable administrative fee is charged upon gift certificate issuance. After the recipient has had an initial consultation and engaged our services, this charge is credited toward the gift certificate amount, which is then due in full from the giver.
Payment:
At this time, we only accept checks as payment for gift certificates. As noted above, only $25 is due to issue a gift certificate. The balance is due only when the recipient has met with Clarity and decided upon a scope of services. Should the services require additional fees, the recipient will be responsible for that portion. Should the recipient not engage our services, there is no further charge.
Prior to mailing us your check, please contact us with any questions and the following information:
- The desired amount, hours, or package description
- The giver name(s), address and phone number
- The recipient name(s)
- A short message (100 characters max.)
- Mailing address to send gift certificate
As we keep a record of gift certificates purchased, the recipient can still redeem their gift in the event of a lost certificate. Gifts redeemed more than 12 months after issuance may be prorated for hourly rates then in effect.
